Being a wedding officiant is about listening to each couple. Respecting their needs, beliefs and perspectives, while guiding them through the process of crafting a ceremony or writing their own vows. It is about bringing a certain energy to their special day. Leading with calm, patience, and confidence in public speaking; traits I’ve learning from my years of teaching Social Work at Columbia University and my career as a Director in a New York city Child Welfare agency. I take my role as officiant very seriously while bringing my relaxed, friendly, funny and warm demeanor forward at all time. I have experience and am most comfortable with non-denominational, atheist, and/or buddhist ceremonies.
